A.H.S.M.C. is an annual mathematics competition for high school students in
Alberta. Students in junior high schools or in the North West Territories may
also apply to write.

Canadian Mathematics Olympiad

Sun Life Financial Canadian Mathematical Olympiad (CMO) is Canada's premier
national advanced mathematics competition. Candidates require an invitation from the Canadian Mathematical Society in
order to participate.

Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests

Canadian Senior and Intermediate Mathematics Contests (CSMC and CIMC) are two
contests designed to give students the opportunity to have fun and to develop
their mathematical problem solving ability.

solving skills through a written mathematical activity.

International Olympiad in informatics (IOI)
The
International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI) competition tasks
are of algorithmic nature; however, the contestants have to show such basic IT
skills as problem analysis, design of algorithms and data structures,
programming and testing.

Math League
Math
League's High School Contests are the best in high school mathematics
competition. Students in each league compete for the highest scores, while
schools compete for the highest team score: the total of the top 5 scores in
each school.

Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat mathematics contests

Pascal, Cayley and Fermat Contests are an opportunity for students to have fun
and to develop their mathematical problem solving ability. Early questions
require only concepts found in the curriculum common to all provinces.

Sun Life Financial Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC)

COMC is Canada's premier national mathematics competition that is open to any student with an interest in
mathematics. The purpose of the Sun Life Financial COMC is to encourage
students to explore, discover, and learn more about mathematics and problem
solving.

TD Canada Trust Northwestern Ontario High School mathematics competition
The
individual contests consist of multiple choice questions and are to be
done on the contest booklet. These
tests are closed book, with no books, notes, calculators or other aids allowed.
