Agnes Jacks Scholarship Award

Brief Description:

The Agnes Jacks Scholarship Award provides annually a number of scholarships of $1,000 each towards post-secondary education for ringette players, coaches and/or officials who have demonstrated a strong commitment to the sport of ringette. Recipients will receive a scholarship award certificate recognizing their achievements. The number of scholarships to be offered each year will be determined by the Ringette Canada Board of Directors.

Enrolled full-time in a recognized post-secondary education institution for the next academic year

Applicants must meet the admission standards of the educational institution specified, which must be a university, college or other educational institution located in Canada providing courses at a post-secondary school level.
Applicants must have actively participated in ringette as player, coach or on-ice official for at least five of the last seven years and must be registered in the current playing season. Successful applicants will be those who have demonstrated sustained commitment to the sport of ringette through playing, coaching, officiating and other volunteer activities.
